We are currently looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to strengthen our Legal team in Dübendorf. You will work in an international and dynamic environment and will work closely with other functional areas and stakeholders within Huawei Technologies Switzerland AG. You are expected to proactively identify and initiate internal improvements as well as to broaden responsibilities beyond the job description.
Main Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft various types of contracts for all departments and business groups, such as carrier network business group, enterprise business group, cloud business unit, digital power business group, and consumer business group, namely but not limited to sales contracts, procurement contracts, service- and rental contracts
- Legal support and research in all matters covering all relevant areas of laws, in particular, contract law, anti-bribery and corruption law, due diligence, privacy (GDPR & FADP), telecommunications law, competition law, trade secrecy, employment law
- Day-to-day counseling and support on all legal and relevant regulatory topics to the management and colleagues
- Active implementation and support in various compliance matters
- Mediation of internal and external disputes as well as coordination of inquiries or potential litigation with external experts and attorneys
- Providing Privacy, competition law, anti-bribery and trade secrecy trainings to all in and outsourced employees
- Risk assessment and proactively adapting and defining solution-oriented approaches and practices and procedures in emerging needs
- Ensuring good corporate governance on the country level among others developing and implementing the organization’s compliance program in line with the guidelines from our Headquarter and Regional Headquarter
- Supporting internal privacy and external ISO certification acquisition for Huawei Technologies Switzerland AG and implementing on-site customer-related supplier audits.
- Regularly reviewing internal policies with respect to regulatory and legal changes
- Monitoring specific legal developments and changes in the industry
- Corporate Housekeeping
Requirements:
- Team work capability is a must
- Recently graduated (2024/2025) Bachelor or Master Degree in Swiss Law
- Strong ability to learn, self-management skills and the ability to work independently
- High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high paced organization.
- Fluency in English and German is a must
