About the Internship

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Data Center Network (DCN) research team. This internship offers you the chance to explore cutting-edge DCN technologies, participate in innovative research projects, and work alongside Huawei’s expert researchers and academic collaborators in an open and inspiring environment.

What You Will Do

• Learn about the latest trends and technologies in data center networks and high-performance interconnection systems.
• Assist in researching and developing new ideas related to DCN architecture, protocols, and algorithms.
• Support the team in designing, implementing, and testing new network techniques, such as software-defined networking, traffic control, and hybrid optical-electrical networks.
• Contribute to optimizing network performance and efficiency for large-scale AI clusters and parallel computing systems.
• Collaborate closely with other interns and researchers to gain hands-on experience in a real-world research environment.

Who We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or PhD program in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Passionate about computer networks, data centers, cloud computing, or high-performance computing.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, or parallel computing is a plus.
• Eager to learn new technologies, work in a team, and contribute to innovative research.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
