Our Huawei Zurich Research Center is embedded in the European network and plays a pivotal role in driving innovation. In Intelligent Coding and Build Lab we are working on the tooling for software development aimed to contribute to the growth of Huawei ecosystem in general and success of Huawei Cloud in particular.

In collaboration with Munich Research Center we are looking for a Software Engineer – IDE & Tooling.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new components and integrations for our Harmony OS flagship application CodeArts IDE.

• Define software requirements and guide the development from prototyping to CI deployment.
• Ensure software quality by proper design and automated tests.

Requirements & qualifications:

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience in one of the following programming languages: C, C++ or Java; experience in JavaScript / TypeScript is a plus.
• Understanding of multithreading and concurrency.
• Ability to design and write code that is easy to read and maintain.
