(Senior) Research Scientist in Computing Systems (OS, Storage and Memory)
In this role, you will lead cutting-edge research efforts, developing next-generation prototypes where Compute and Storage converge to redefine high-performance, distributed storage and memory systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research to conceptualize and design pioneering technologies for Compute and Storage Systems, leveraging advancements in technologies such as ultra-low-latency storage, and high-speed interconnects.
- Design and prototype scalable, high-performance architectures for distributed memory, ensuring seamless integration with emerging storage mediums and acceleration technologies.
- Strategically collaborate with academic partners, drive intellectual property initiatives, and shape our technology roadmap to maintain a competitive edge in high-impact research domains.
- Publish high-quality research in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the broader research community and advancing knowledge in the field.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a strong research background in systems and/or storage.
- Proven research experience in OS, high-performance storage, or data infrastructure, with publications or patents in relevant areas.
- Familiarity with server CPU architectures and memory/storage technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary research teams.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with a strong ability to convey complex research ideas effectively
