(Senior) Researcher in SoC Architecture (Wireless Technologies)

We seek a highly talented (Senior) Researcher in SoC system to explore novel computing architectures for the next-generation wireless systems and analyze key architectural trade-offs in coordination with cross-functional domain experts.
In this role, you will be responsible for the SoC system design to meet the evolution of wireless next generation base station features and algorithms. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with outstanding SoC design skills, and this position is a great opportunity for a person enthusiastic about working on cutting-edge research
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research to optimize the CPU microarchitecture and improve the overall performance of SoC based on the characteristics of wireless base station scheduling and data transmission services.
- Develop novel computing architecture to improve the performance and capacity of wireless systems through software-hardware co-design and other technical innovations.
- Identify technology trends in scalar/vector/tensor processing and CPU microarchitecture optimization techniques.
- Propose novel technologies in CPU, memory/cache, interconnect and/or SoC design in general to improve Performance, Power and Area (PPA), system flexibility, etc.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with the industry and academia from leading universities and collaborate with professors specializing in computer architecture.
Key Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, wireless communication or related background.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the area of chip design or wireless base station communication.
- Having strong background in hardware & software co-design, microprocessor architecture for scalar/vector/tensor computing, job scheduling in heterogeneous parallel systems, memory optimization in many-core systems, power optimization, etc.
- Experience in Wireless and Cellular technologies such as LTE/5G NR is preferred.
- Good understanding of hardware-software interfaces and interactions. Experience in compiler technology is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills across organizations and at the executive level.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Chinese is a plus.
- Excellent written skills for clear and concise reporting.
